Welcome to the signup page of Studenten Net Twente.
SNT is an association that hosts a large portion of study association websites and other digital infrastructure. All those servers require some upkeep so we are always looking for new members. If you are interested in computer networks of any kind, this is the association for you.
Next to working on making the net work, we also organise lunches where we discuss many related and unrelated topics.
How to sign up?
Do you want to become a member?
We have an interest form.
You can sign up as interested using our ssh service: ssh signup.snt.utwente.nl.
An online version for the same service can be found here.
Want to chat?
If you want to join the association or are only interested, we encourage you to join us on matrix or IRC (#snt at irc.snt.utwente.nl). You are free to use any Matrix homeserver to join this channel, but we also provide a matrix homeserver on our own, matrix.utwente.io.
We have a guide on joining our matrix server specifically here.
Not Sure?
If you are not sure if you want to join yet? Come by to one of our lunches.
Just type the !lunch yes or !lunch vega in the #snt chat on Matrix or using the IRC client at the bottom of the page.
Or send an email to the board.
How do I find SNT?
The SNT room is located in Bastille 317. The Bastille is the building next to the Store and has a large Student Union logo on it. See on Open Street Maps or Google Maps. You might have learned about it when going to the Vesting Bar or the Subway during the Kick-In.
Once you are in the Bastille, walk to the third floor.
- If you went in through the entrance next to the football fields, you can just go left and follow the corridor, you should see SNT on your left.
- If you went in from the entrance from the Boulevard, the street where the supermarket and the Pokebowl joint are, you need to cross to the other side of the building first. When you find the other set of stairs go right and you should see the SNT room.

You can also take a peek into our room with the IRC client below. Note that the client is only available on HTTP, so some browsers might not show it to you.
